- 1 pound ground turkey
- ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1½ teaspoons chili powder
- 1 Tablespoon garlic, minced
- In a large heavy skillet or Dutch oven, cook turkey over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes, stirring with a spoon to break up meat as it browns.
- Add the garlic and continue to cook for 5 minutes more, stirring frequently.
- Add the salt, pepper and chili powder; continue cooking until liquid has evaporated and turkey has browned.
- Use in casseroles, for soft shell tacos, taco salad, spaghetti sauce or as a pizza topping.
