Ingredients

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 8 slices deli roast beef
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Separate the biscuit dough into 8 pieces, gently flattening each with your hands.
  3. Place a slice of roast beef and a slice of provolone cheese on each piece of dough.
  4. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal, creating a neat, round ball.
  5. Arrange the filled biscuit bombs seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  7. Brush this flavorful butter mixture generously over the tops of the biscuits.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  9. While baking, warm the beef broth in a small saucepan over medium heat.

Serving Suggestions & Pairings

  • Garnish with Fresh Herbs: Top the biscuits with a sprinkle of fresh chopped parsley or thyme right before serving to add a pop of color and fresh flavor.
  • Dipping Sauce Twist: For a zesty alternative to the beef broth, serve with a creamy horseradish sauce or a tangy mustard dip.
  • Pair with a Fresh Salad: Balance the richness of the biscuit bombs with a crisp, refreshing salad of mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and a light vinaigrette.

Beverage Pairing

These hearty bites go perfectly with an ice-cold beer, a spicy Bloody Mary, or even a glass of red wine — a cabernet or merlot will complement the beefy flavors beautifully.

Make it a Meal

Turn these biscuit bombs into a cozy dinner by pairing them with a warm bowl of tomato soup, a hearty vegetable soup, or a classic French onion soup for an extra layer of comfort.
