These Blueberry Brie Jalapeño Poppers are an elegant twist on the classic party snack. Creamy Brie melts against the heat of fresh jalapeño, while blueberries and a touch of honey add juicy sweetness that keeps each bite balanced and memorable. They’re baked, not fried, making them surprisingly simple yet impressive enough for guests or game-day tables.
Ingredients
- 6 Jalapeños, halved lengthwise and seeds removed
- 4 oz Brie cheese, rind trimmed and cubed
- 2 Tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 Tablespoon honey
- Pinch of black pepper
- Optional garnish: fresh thyme or basil leaves
Preparation
- Prep Oven & Peppers: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Wearing gloves, halve the jalapeños and scrape out seeds to reduce heat.
- Mix Filling: In a small bowl, combine the Brie cubes, cream cheese, honey, and a pinch of black pepper. Stir until mostly smooth and cohesive.
- Stuff Jalapeños: Spoon the cheese mixture into each Jalapeño half, dividing it evenly. Press a few fresh blueberries into the top of each filled pepper.
- Bake: Arrange the poppers on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for about 12–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the Jalapeños are tender.
- Serve: Let cool slightly, then garnish with fresh thyme or basil if desired. Serve warm.
